January Foxtrot Lesson and Dance

USADance Madison welcomes back Tom Choudoir of DanceSport of Madison for our January 21st dance, instructing the Foxtrot. Join us at Turner’s Gym at 7:00 PM for the lesson and stay to enjoy open ballroom dancing from 8:00 to 10:30. Individuals and couples are always welcome!

– 8:00-10:30 pm: General Dancing, Mixers, and Demonstration!

Please note: As of January 2012 dance admission fees will be slightly higher. The increase will be only $2.00 for all who attend the dances. If you are a member of USADance your fee will be $7.00 and if you are a guest or visitor your fee will be $12.00. Student admission with a valid ID will remain at $5.00. In the board’s discussion for the need for this increase, we realized that many of you may not know that your annual membership to USADance (National) goes only to the national treasury. Our local chapter receives NONE of the membership dues. We rely solely on admission fees and donations/contributions to make our dances happen.

USA Dance is a national non-profit organization that promotes ballroom dancing. USA Dance-Madison is a local chapter (#2095) of that national organization. The Madison chapter offers dance workshops and intensives, and provide a positive smoke-free alcohol-free social dance every month.

USA Dance social dances are a great opportunity to put all of your dance moves into action! The mix of recorded music includes Waltz, Fox Trot, Tango, Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, and many others!

Dress for USA Dance dances is dressy casual.
